We spent 2 days at Backwater Ripples and had a truly great time. The rooms were large and spacious and the kitchen served really good and tasty food. The true party piece is the infinity pool looking onto the lake and the large open spaces that really let you explore the full property in peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay near the backwaters. ❤️
Got to experience the wonderful time in Kumarakom by staying in “Backwater Ripples”. Absolutely loved the view during the sunset. Would recommend to stay there if travelling to Kumarakom. The staff are polite and friendly advising us on the sightseeing. Theyve many activities one can engage inside the hotel. The backwater view with the pool is definitely worth spending time.
This a beautiful place and you will definitely enjoy your stay here. It is luxurious and good for vacation and celebrating special occasions. The staffs are friendly and shows great hospitality. They serve delicious and quality food. This property had sufficient parking space. I love this place. You can do a lot of activity like house boating, fishing, cycling and have fun on the side of back waters. Highly recommend.

Really nice and well maintained resort in Kumarakom. Fantastic views of the lake. Excellent breakfast with many choices including local south Indian dishes. Buffet dinner is also good (about 1350 rupees per head), but deserts could be better. They could improve the offerings by adding a few more south Indian dishes to the dinner buffet. The restaurant is bit on the smaller side so you may have wait for a table. It's advisable to reserve ahead. Staff are friendly and helpful. Afternoon snacks (4-5pm) and a 1 hour lake cruise (5-6pm) are included in the room rate. The room itself is comfortable and spacious. Looks recently renovated. I would stay here again. It is good value for money.
